1930's Vacheron & Constantin Vintage Mens Midsize Art Deco Watch - 18K Gold

Vacheron & Constantin

Item No. 5347

Today's offering showcases this uncommon and fine Art Deco Vacheron & Constantin watch. Built circa 1930, it combines exceptional quality with classic Art Deco styling. As a vintage mens midsize it is small by today's standard and suitable for a man with less sizeable wrists or for a woman.

The Art Deco period, with its love for geometrical design saw the creation of striking pieces by Vacheron & Constantin. These were mainly dress watches, although some were sports watches, as well as exotic and luxurious pieces at times, some of which were in multicolor gold. The cases were created by the finest Parisian jewelers and in particular by Verger Frères, whose collaboration with Vacheron Constantin was important for the watchmaker.

The dial is a vintage restoration. The original 18K case with French hallmarks presents very nicely. And the movement is running strong and true.

Our watchmaker has freshly cleaned and oiled the watch. Included with the purchase is a one-year warranty on the movement and its function, a custom printed Connoisseur of Time Certificate of Authenticity, and a new timing certificate.
