1937 Elgin Vintage Art Deco Mens Watch with Gadrooned Lugs - 14K Rose & White Gold with Diamonds

Elgin

Item No. 7732SH

For a hundred years, Elgin watches kept America on time and grew to the most prolific American watch manufacturer. Once worn by Buffalo Bill Cody, President Warren G. Harding, and Babe Ruth, the company's timepieces continue to be cherished as family heirlooms and special examples are avidly collected by those who appreciate American watches.

Today's offering showcases this handsome Art Deco style mens Elgin. It is suggestive of the glittering elegance associated with 1930's and 40's American high society. Its curved rose and white gold case has an elegant gadrooned design. And it has a stunning diamond Art Deco dial (face) and a fine Elgin movement.

It is a glittering watch with a regal style - it captured the essence of the rewards available to those who through hard work and dedication achieved a position of leadership in law, medicine, business.

It has all of its original parts and has just finished a true expertly done restoration. Our photos couldn't begin to capture its attractiveness.

The 14K rose and white gold case presents as just short of mint. The dial has been expertly restored by one of the leading dial experts in North America. The dial is bright and beautiful and matches well!

One of our watchmakers has disassembled it down to its last screw and cleaned and oiled it. It is quite clean. Photos of the inside available upon request.

For the finishing touch we have equipped it with a brand new Teju lizard strap making it ready for immediate enjoyment.

Included with the purchase is a full one-year warranty on the movement and its function and a custom printed Connoisseur of Time Certificate of Authenticity.

If you are looking for an Art Deco diamond vintage wristwatch, don't miss this one. Modern watches don't match the charm and history of this original.
