1940's Rolex Ladies Vintage Cocktail Watch - Platinum & Diamonds

Rolex

Item No. 10150

Rolex. Platinum. Diamonds. Each of these words evokes refinement, rarity, and enduring value. Brought together, they create something truly exceptional: a vintage ladies’ Rolex crafted in platinum and adorned with diamonds. This is not only a watch—it is a statement of timeless sophistication and exclusivity.

Today's offering showcases this rare platinum and diamond Rolex creation made for the Canadian market. Bejeweled with four diamonds the platinum Rolex case is luxurious and gorgeous!

Unlike gold or steel examples, vintage Rolex watches in platinum were produced in extremely limited numbers, reserved for only the most prestigious clientele. Even fewer were designed for ladies, making this timepiece one of the rarest expressions of Rolex’s artistry. The presence of hand-set diamonds only enhances its beauty, ensuring it stands among the most desirable Rolex creations of its era.

Showcasing a simple geometric motif with four original factory set diamonds on the lugs, this cocktail watch as it is called, added the perfect finishing touch to outfits worn to galas, award ceremonies, or other special gatherings.

The brilliant diamonds are white, near flawless, and full of fire as one would expect from original Rolex contractor set diamonds.

Its case presents as just short of mint with only very light wear and very signs of previous polishing. Its dial was restored long ago in vintage times and has developed a patina giving it a true vintage look. Please inquire if you would like it freshly expertly restored.

One of our Master Watchmakers who used to be the watchmaker for an authorized Rolex dealer and was given training by Rolex at their Beverly Hills Service Center to be an authorized Rolex watchmaker has fully serviced the watch which consists of fully disassembling the movement, carefully inspecting each part, installing a new mainspring, reassembling and lubricating the movement, and extensive timing, testing and regulation (a $895 value).

Its original handwound Rolex movement, signed Rolex, is very clean.

For the finishing touch, we have meticulously detailed it and installed a brand new cord bracelet designed to replicate the style of the original making it ready for immediate enjoyment. If you would like band holders added near the watch, please inquire.

Included with the purchase is a one-year C.O.T. international warranty on the movement and its function and a full-page custom printed Connoisseur of Time Certificate of Authenticity.

A rare opportunity to acquire a ladies’ Rolex in platinum and diamonds—an exquisite blend of rarity, desirability, and timeless beauty.
