Today's offering showcases this very rare and incredibly exquisite Rolex creation. It is fully Rolex. It is a special creation made exclusively for Bucherer, the premier Swiss watch retailer and jeweler. As Hess and Dowling state in their authoritative work on Rolex, watches like this are, "in fact, the last hand made Rolex watches."
Bejeweled with an estimated three carats of diamonds according to a GIA certified gemologist, the platinum Rolex gold case is absolutely stunning! Showcasing a show-stopping design with coutoured stirrup design with two .40 point diamonds as the centrepieces, this cocktail watch added the perfect finishing touch to outfits worn to galas, award ceremonies, or other special gatherings.
The brilliant diamonds are white, near flawless, and full of fire as one would expect from original Rolex factory set diamonds. Our photos couldn't do the case justice.
The extraordinary original case is heavy and substantial and is hinged in four places to comfortably fit the wrist.
We were fortunate to acquire this important Lady Rolex. It is fully Rolex down to the dial, hands and winding crown.
Its platinum case is in very good condition with fairly light wear. Its silver dial was previously restored by one of the leading dial experts in North America.
One of our watchmakers has disassembled it down to its last screw and cleaned and oiled its original, high-grade Rolex movement, which is clean and keeping time.
For the finishing touch we have installed a new black cord bracelet, designed to replicate the style of the original making it ready for immediate enjoyment.
Accompanying the watch is a very cool new-old-stock Rolex for Bucherer spoon still in its original wrapper.
If you are looking for a true treasure for that special someone in your life, this is it. Modern Rolexes don't match the charm and romance of this vintage original.
