"There has never been anyone in a plane's cockpit without a Breitling ... on his wrist -- or who would at least wished to have one." - Musings of an aviation journalist
Today's offering showcases this classic and collectable original Breitling ref. 760 Premier with original dial and beautifully crisp case.
Its classically styled case give the watch a great vintage look. Measuring 35.5mm in diameter and 44mm long, it is essentially the size of a Rolex Datejust. This is a well-made and pleasing chronograph movement for men who needed precision timing.
It has a crown wheel chronograph mechanism and is capable of recording events up to 45 minutes. Its dial features an outer tachometer ring that measures the speed of objects, done especially for aviation and auto racing uses.
Its parts are original down to the hour and minute hands, pushers and even the winding crown, and present very nicely. The only replacement part appears to be the sweep hand.
The dial is original and untouched. The case body does not appear to ever have been polished and retains strong and crisp lines.
Our watchmaker has freshly cleaned and oiled the movement. It is running true, and the chronograph resets precisely.
For the finishing touch we have equipped it with a brand new crocodile strap making it ready for immediate enjoyment.
Included with the purchase is a one-year C.O.T. warranty on the movement and its function, a custom printed Connoisseur of Time Certificate of Authenticity, and a new timing certificate.

Breitling brand information:
Since its founding in 1884, the Breitling firm has been one of the fine Swiss manufacturers. Embraced by pilots since the dawning of aeronautics, Breitling watches are the only ones that grace the wrists of the world's elite aerobatic groups, namely the Blue Angels, the Thunderbirds, The British Red Arrows, and the Russian Knights.
Vintage examples of Breitling's chronographs are sought after by collector's, aviation enthusiasts, and even some Hollywood celebrities.
