1946 Jeager-LeCoultre Vintage Large Mens Watch - 18K Rose Gold

Jaeger-LeCoultre

Item No. 6973

Today's offering showcases this big and beautiful gents Jeager-LeCoultre in 18K rose gold. I love these watches in rose gold. Our photos just couldn't do it justice.

At 35.5mm in diameter not including the crown and 43mm long, this big beauty fills out the wrist in a way most dress watches from the era don't. And its oversized dial makes it wear even larger.

With a classic silver "Explorer" style 3,6,9 dial, wonderful rose gold case, and superior caliber 12.5 lignes P450/4C movement with early shock resistance, its showcases the quality and gorgeous design one expects from JLC. The 12.5 ebauche served as the basis for JLC's esteemed first triple-date calendar watches and powered examples of the company's rugged W.W.W. military watches.

It is a fully European version and has all original parts down to all hands and the winding crown.

Its large original 18K gold case is in excellent condition with a crisp hallmark on the side. Its dial is bright and clean, previously restored. And its high-grade handwound JLC movement is keeping very accurate time.

One of our watchmakers has disassembled it down to its last screw and cleaned and oiled it. We have also installed a new mineral glass crystal just like the original so the indices aren't partially covered.

For the finishing touch we have equipped it with a brand new Teju lizard strap making it ready for immediate enjoyment.

Included with the purchase is a one-year C.O.T. international warranty on the movement and its function, a custom printed Connoisseur of Time Certificate of Authenticity, and a new timing certificate attesting to its performance.
