Its 18K gold-plated case has the look on the wrist of a solid gold Omega for a fraction of the cost. And its "Explorer style" dial with numbers at the primary hours has a pleasing and classic look. And the five minute markers add an air of precision to it.

Powering it is a very capable handwound Omega movement from their robust 30 T2 based series.

The famous 30 T2 movement gained a reputation for reliability and accurate timekeeping serving the critical timing needs of the world's Armed Forces during World War II. As time progressed, Omega added upgrades to the movement such as shock protection and extra jewels - as is the case with the Cal. 283 mechanism found in this watch.

It has fully Omega parts and has just finished a true expertly done restoration. It presents as gorgeous condition.

Its case presents as mint. Its strong black dial has been meticulously restored - the printing could pass as factory done to the naked eye.

Its original handwound movement has just been freshly fully serviced by a Master Watchmaker. It is near pristine. It is running extremely strongly and keeping very accurate time.

For the finishing touch, we have equipped it with a new leather strap and aftermarket Omega style buckle making it ready for immediate enjoyment.
