1950's Patek Philippe Vintage Ladies Ref. 2208 Watch - 18K Gold

Patek Philippe

Item No. 7195

We are proud to offer today this very fine original mid-century ladies Patek Philippe.

With its understated silver face and timeless case with uncommon and distinctive horseshoe shaped lugs, it showcases a classic and elegant vintage Patek style.

Powering the watch is its illustrious handwound movement, unquestionably among the finest hand-winding ladies movements ever built.

Patek designed the extremely high-grade movement to maintain very accurate timekeeping even across a wide range of temperatures, positions, and even amounts of power left (isochronism), something only the highest top tier of mens movements could do. It was virtually unheard of quality for a women's movement, except for some made by Patek Philippe and a few of the highest level ladies movements from a couple other top echelon manufacturers - it one of the very few women's watches that is truly on par with the very top-tier of men's watches.

It presents in beautiful condition. Its parts are original down to the dial and hands. The only replacement part is the winding crown, which is correctly unsigned and a very well-suited replacement.

Its angular Patek Philippe case is in excellent condition with light wear and retains a perfectly crisp hallmark.

Its silver dial shows only very fairly mild aging and is original and untouched. Please inquire if you would like it expertly restored. Its movement is very clean.

One of our watchmakers has disassembled it down to its last screw and cleaned and oiled it. It is keeping very accurate time. For the finishing touch we have equipped it with a brand new black cord strap designed to replicate the look of the original making it ready for immediate enjoyment.

Included with the purchase is a one-year C.O.T. international warranty on the movement and its function and a custom printed Connoisseur of Time Certificate of Authenticity.
