1950's Rolex Precision Vintage Mens Dress Watch - 14K Gold

Rolex

Item No. 5833

In the 1930's through the 50's, in the midst of their high output of utilitarian sports watches, Rolex also made much more elegant dress watches. These fine wristwatches often combine a superior hand-wound mechanism with beautiful aesthetics.

The elegant and timeless dress Rolex showcased in today's offering is a classic example of this phenomenon made for the U.S. market. It features fine styling and a well-executed handwound movement.

It measures 34mm in diameter without the crown - the same size as a Rolex Date model.

It is fully Rolex down to the winding crown and is a well-done restoration. It presents in pleasing condition. Its case is in better than near mint condition, and its dial, with solid gold Rolex coronet which is a nice touch, is a clean vintage restoration.

One of our watchmakers has just fully disassembled the very fine Precision movement down to its last screw and freshly cleaned and oiled it. It is keeping very accurate time.

For the finishing touch we have equipped it with a brand new crocodile strap making it ready for immediate enjoyment.

Included with the purchase is a one-year international warranty on the movement and its function, a custom printed Connoisseur of Time Certificate of Authenticity, and a new timing certificate.

Don't miss the opportunity to own the perfect complement to your sporty Datejust, Sub, GMT, or Daytona.
