Today's offering showcases this full size and classic mens Ulysse Nardin. It has an elegantly shaped case and strong black dial.
Measuring 35mm in diameter without the crown by 42mm long, it is in between the size of a Rolex Date and a Rolex Datejust. Powering it is its original well-made Ulysse Nardin handwound movement. Unlike most of the Ulysse Nardins here in the States which were made for the U.S. market, this is true all Swiss creation.
The case has a pleasing design and the dial is very cool with alternating configuration of numerals and dart indices.
It presents in true expertly restored condition. It is has fully UN parts down to the winding crown and all hands.
The dial has been meticulously refinished - the printing could pass as UN factory done to the naked eye.
A Master Watchmaker has fully serviced it. Its running strong and accurately.
For the finishing touch we have equipped it with a brand new Italian leather strap making it ready for immediate enjoyment.
Included with the purchase is a one-year C.O.T. international warranty on the movement and its function, a custom printed Connoisseur of Time Certificate of Authenticity, and a new timing certificate.
A classic six decade old Ulysse Nardin that presents on the wrist almost like new!
Ulysse Nardin:
Ulysse Nardin is best known by many collectors for creating chronometers, extremely accurate time keeping instruments. Their marine chronometer used by ship's captains to plot and follow the correct course while at sea. By employing sextants and chronometers, a captain could track the changes in his course over time and determine the exact location of his ship, and Nardin's marine chronometers were among the most reliable and sought after.
