Item No. 10314
$ 1,645.00
Today's offering showcases this classic and meticulously restored Seamaster from c. 1954.
Its case shape is our favorite Omega style from the era and its striking royal blue vignette dial. The desirable "Explorer" style dial with Arabic numerals marking the primary hours has a pleasing vintage style.
Powering the watch is Omega's early caliber 354 "hammer" movement from Omega's first series of automatic movements.
It measures 34.5mm in diameter without the crown, just slightly larger than the size of a Rolex Date watch.
It has all of its original parts and has just finished a true expertly done restoration.
Its mid-century case presents as just short of mint condition with strong lines. It has a small wrench mark on the edge of one spot on the back. On the wrist, it presents gorgeous mint.
Its original Omega dial has been meticulously custom refinished in royal blue vignette - royal blue at the center that fades to black toward the periphery. The printing could nearly pass as Omega factory done to the naked eye.
As part of the restoration, the movement has been freshly overhauled by a Master Watchmaker. It is running very strong and true, keeping time on par with a new Omega in our testing recording position.
For the finishing touch, we have equipped it with a brand new calfskin leather strap and aftermarket Omega style buckle making it ready for immediate enjoyment.
Included with the purchase is a one-year C.O.T. international warranty on the movement and its function, a custom printed Connoisseur of Time Certificate of Authenticity, and a new timing certificate.
The model's page on the Omega website can be found here. A high-grade classic Seamaster that presents essentially like new on the wrist.
