1956 Omega Seamaster Mens Midsize Vintage Automatic Watch - 14K Gold Shell & Stainless Steel

Omega

Item No. 9658

Today's offering showcases this classic and beautifully restored c. 1956 Omega Seamaster. It has an elegant case and timeless black dial.

While not a small midsize, it is about a half of a millimeter smaller than most Seamaster models from the era so it is well-suited for someone who doesn't have large wrist.

Powering it is its original Omega caliber 471 movement from the highly esteemed "500" series, one of the finest mass-produced automatic movement series from the era.

It has all of its original parts and has just finished a true expertly done restoration. It presents in excellent condition.

Its case presents in excellent condition with a few slivers of gold wear through on the bottom edge of lugs and fairly light signs of polishing. Despite what our magnified photos seem to suggest, in person the wear through is difficult to see unless is scrutinized. It presents on the wrist as just short of mint.

Its dial has been meticulously restored - the printing could pass as Omega factory done to the naked eye.

As part of the restoration a Master Watchmaker has freshly overhauled the movement. It is very clean. Photos of the inside available upon request.

It is running true, keeping time on par with a new Omega in our testing recording position.

For the finishing touch it has been equipped it with a brand new calfskin leather strap and aftermarket Omega style buckle making it ready for immediate enjoyment.

Included with the purchase is a one-year warranty on the movement and its function, a custom printed Connoisseur of Time Certificate of Authenticity, and a new timing certificate attesting to the watch's performance.

Your watch is important to us, and we will take care of it for its lifetime.
