1957 Longines Mens Vintage Dress Watch - 14K White Gold & Diamonds

Longines

Item No. 6968

Longines is known for creating some of the most technically innovative and attractive timepieces. Once worn by Humphrey Bogart, Richard Byrd, and Charles Lindbergh, the company's vintage watches are sought after by collectors and anyone desiring to wear a high grade wristwatch.

Today's offering showcases this gents Longines wristwatch with striking two-shade diamond dial. The photos couldn't quite capture the full two-tone effect that it exhibits at certain angles of light - at certain angles it is very subtle and at others it is very pronounced, giving the watch a cool ever changing look.

Featuring a solid white gold case, special dial (face), and a high-grade Longines movement, this beauty fits in well under the cuff of a successful businessman or attorney. The quality of many Longines movements are often underappreciated - its high grade 23Z is finished wonderfully for a watch at this price level.

It is fully Longines and presents in beautifully restored condition. Its white gold Longines case is scratch-free. Its interesting dial has been professionally restored. And its handwound Longines movement is quite pristine and keeping extraordinarily accurate time.

One of our watchmakers has disassembled it down to its last screw and cleaned and oiled it and installed a new-old-stock crystal. For the finishing touch we have equipped it with a brand new genuine Teju lizard strap making it ready for immediate enjoyment.

Included with the purchase is a one-year C.O.T. warranty on the movement and its function, a custom printed Connoisseur of Time Certificate of Authenticity, and a new timing certificate.
