1957 Omega Seamaster Calendar Vintage Mens Cal. 503 Automatic Watch - Stainless Steel

Omega

Item No. 6883

Today's offering showcases this classic and meticulously restored Calatrava-style Omega Seamaster Calendar. Powering the watch is Omega's superior caliber 503 with 20 jewels (three more than in many similar Omega's) from the company's famous 500's series. Omega's 500 series was one of the finest mass produced automatics from the era.

It measures approximately 34mm in diameter without the crown, the size of a Rolex Date watch.

It is 100% Omega down to the dial, hands, and winding crown.

It has had a true expert restoration and presents in gorgeous restored condition. The case shows light signs of having been polished to the back - it presents as mint on the wrist.

The dial has been meticulously restored - the printing could pass as Omega factory done to the naked eye.

1950's and 60's Seamasters that feature 500 series movements are excellent buys today because of their quality and relative ease and reasonable cost for servicing.

As part of the restoration the movement has been fully serviced by a Master Watchmaker. We have timed it in five chronometer positions, and it is running strong and true.

Included with the purchase is a one-year warranty on the movement and its function, a custom printed Connoisseur of Time Certificate of Authenticity, and a new timing certificate attesting to the watch's performance.

For the finishing touch a new aftermarket leather strap has been installed making it ready for immediate enjoyment.

A high-grade classic Seamaster that presents beautifully on the wrist!

The Seamaster:
Omega is perhaps best known by watch connoisseurs for its Seamaster line of dive watches. Introduced in 1948, they have been were embraced by water sports enthusiasts and often marry a striking look with a high performance movement.
