Today's offering showcases this classic and meticulously restored Calatrava-style Omega Seamaster Calendar. Powering the watch is Omega's superior caliber 503 with 20 jewels (three more than in many similar Omega's) from the company's esteemed 500's series. Omega's 500 series was one of the finest mass produced automatics from the era.
It has a Calatrava type case and strong black dial with classic "dauphine" hands.
It measures approximately 34mm in diameter without the crown, the size of a Rolex Date watch.
It is 100% Omega down to the dial, hands, and later period winding crown.
It has just had a true expertly done restoration and presents in gorgeous condition.
Its case presents as mint. Its dial has been meticulously restored - the printing could pass as Omega factory done to the naked eye.
As part of the restoration the movement has been fully serviced by a Master Watchmaker. It is running strong and true, keeping very accurate time.
Included with the purchase is a one-year warranty on the movement and its function, a custom printed Connoisseur of Time Certificate of Authenticity, and a new timing certificate attesting to the watch's performance.
For the finishing touch we have equipped it with a brand new calfskin leather strap making it ready for immediate enjoyment.
A high-grade classic Seamaster that presents beautifully on the wrist!
Omega is perhaps best known by watch connoisseurs for its Seamaster line of dive watches. Introduced in 1948, they have been embraced by water sports enthusiasts and often marry a striking look with a high performance movement.
Omega watches are worn on the wrists of Michael Schumacher, Pierce Brosnan, Michael Phelps, and Ernie Els.
