1960 Audemars Piguet Vintage Mens Unisex Modernist Cal. 2001 Dress Watch - 18K Gold

Audemars Piguet

Item No. 6568

Today's offering showcases this handsome, classic and very high-grade Audemars Piguet mens dress watch in gorgeous original condition.

It showcases wonderful modernist design sensibilities with a large bezel and pleasing style. The pattern found on the extremely elegant tapestry case is repeated on the dial giving the watch a very distinctive look that has timeless class.

And it comes equipped with its original extremely fine, original Audemars Piguet movement, that showcases top tier Swiss watchmaking. This shock protected movement was designed to maintain accuracy in four different positions and across a wide range of temperature.

It is all original and presents as just short of mint on the wrist. Like many dress watches from the era, though it originally was a mens midsize watch, it is a small unisex size by today's standards - it measures 25mm in diameter without the crown and is best suited for someone with small wrists.

One of our watchmakers has just fully disassembled the movement down to its last screw and freshly cleaned and oiled it.

For the finishing touch we have equipped it with a brand new Teju lizard strap making it ready for immediate enjoyment.

Included with the purchase is a one-year international warranty on the movement and its function, a custom printed Connoisseur of Time Certificate of Authenticity, and a new timing certificate attesting to its performance.
