We are proud to offer today this extremely fine and all-original c. 1960 ladies Patek Philippe. It is a prime example of an early retro era Patek Philippe watch with 18K white gold case factory set by Patek with 24 diamonds.
The twenty-four diamonds, totaling approx. .30 of a carat, are exceptionally high quality, as one would expect from original factory set diamonds on a watch of this caliber. Our photos couldn't do it justice.
With its understated silver face and high-fashion case and bracelet, it showcases a classic, elegant, and ultra-luxurious vintage Patek style.
Powering it is its illustrious original handwound movement. Patek designed the extremely high-grade movement to maintain very accurate timekeeping even across a wide range of temperatures, positions, and even amounts of power left (isochronism), something only the highest top tier of mens movements could do. It is even stamped with the prestigious Poinçon de Genève and is among the finest hand-winding ladies movements ever built.
We were fortunate to acquire it in all-original condition. It has 100% original parts down to the dial, hands, and winding crown and presents in beautiful original condition.
Its angular Patek Philippe case is in better than near mint condition with light remnants of wear.
Its silver dial is bright and clean and slightly warmed in tone giving it a true vintage look. And its movement, which is very clean, is keeping accurate time. Photos of the inside available upon request.
One of our watchmakers has disassembled it down to its last screw and cleaned and oiled it making it ready for immediate enjoyment.
Please inquire if you would like us to obtain an Extract from the Patek Philippe archives for you. Patek charges 500 Swiss Francs to provide one.
Included with the purchase is a one-year C.O.T. international warranty on the movement and its function and a full-page custom printed Connoisseur of Time Certificate of Authenticity.
