Before cost-cutting measures brought about the widespread use of quartz movements for certain wristwatches, Cartier utilized Swiss-crafted mechanical movements. Using centuries old watchmaking practices, craftsmen poured individual attention into each wristwatch.
Today's offering showcases this beautiful Certified Pre-Owned vintage ladies 18K gold Cartier. It has a precious solid 18K petite round case with timelessly elegant design. Powering the watch is a fine original signed Cartier handwound mechanism that is a miniature model of Swiss precision.
We were fortunate to acquire this classic Cartier watch in such pleasing original condition. The dial is original and untouched, and the case presents as just short of mint.
One of our watchmakers has freshly disassembled the watch down to the last screw and cleaned and oiled it. It continues to run very accurately. Please inquire if you would like photos of the inside.
It comes on its original black cord bracelet that has solid a 14K clasp, a uncommon feature, making it ready for immediate enjoyment.
Included with the purchase is a one-year C.O.T. warranty on the movement and its function, a custom printed Connoisseur of Time Certificate of Authenticity, and a new timing certificate.
