1960's Girard Perregaux Vintage Ladies Cuff Bracelet Factory Original Watch - 14K Gold Watch

Girard Perregaux

Item No. 8627

Today's offering showcases this very rare and highly unusual Girard Perregaux ladies cuff bracelet watch. It was factory made by Girard Perregaux and is all-original and in just short of perfect mint condition.

It features a classic hooded lug style case with spring loaded cuffs or bangles integrated into it. Unlike many of the GP's for sale in the United States with American contract cases, this is a true all Swiss creation.

The cuff arms stretch widely to accommodate a wide range of wrists, from as small as six inches to quite large.

Its fine baguette movement has its oversize mainspring barrel and full sized balance placed at opposite ends for greater accuracy and a longer power reserve.

It has all of its original parts and is in gorgeous condition - our photos couldn't do it justice.

Its petite case and bracelet present as just short of perfect mint. Its small classic silver dial is also just short of perfect mint. And its original half-cylindrical crystal is mint.

One of our watchmakers has disassembled it down to its last screw, fully serviced it, and installed a brand new correct mainspring for it, making it ready for immediate enjoyment.

Included with the purchase is a one-year international warranty on the movement and its function, a custom printed Connoisseur of Time Certificate of Authenticity, and a new timing certificate.

You won't ever come across another woman wearing one of these - it's the first one we've ever seen.

A unique object that will enhance the collection of a vintage watch enthusiast (or perhaps entice a Girard Perregaux collector's wife into the delightful world of vintage watches).
