1960's Tiffany & Co. Ladies Vintage Watch with Bracelet - 14K Gold

Tiffany & Co.

Item No. 7317

In the 1960's like today, no name better captured the idea of embracing the best life had to offer than that of Tiffany & Co. One of their special offerings to their most discriminating female clients was a line of jeweled watches emblazoned with the Tiffany & Co. name on the dial.

Although the maker's name was often hidden, the retailer contracted with a number of the world's fine watch and jewelry making firms to produce these treasured timepieces.

Today's offering showcases this stunning solid gold Tiffany & Co. mechanical watch made by Concord for the prestigious retailer.

Before cost-cutting measures brought about the widespread use of quartz movements for certain wristwatches, Tiffany utilized Swiss-crafted mechanical movements. Using centuries old watchmaking practices, craftsmen poured individual attention into each wristwatch.

We were fortunate to obtain it in all original condition down to the dial, hands, winding crown, and even original 14K gold bracelet.

It is in gorgeous original condition, appearing to have been worn carefully in appreciation of its quality and value. The only component that shows some surface wear is the winding crown. In person it is difficult to see the aging - our photos greatly magnify it.

Its silver Tiffany & Co. dial is original and untouched, just short of perfect mint. Its 14K gold case is mint and still retains its original factory applied satin finish to the case back. It comes equipped with its original 14K gold bracelet and clasp.

One of our watchmakers has disassembled it down to its last screw and cleaned and oiled its well-made movement making it ready for immediate enjoyment.

Included with the purchase is a one-year C.O.T. international warranty on the movement and its function, a custom printed Connoisseur of Time Certificate of Authenticity, and a new timing certificate.

If you are looking for a special treasure for someone in your life, this is it. Modern Tiffany watches don't match the charm and romance of this vintage original.
