Today's offering showcases this classic and meticulously 1961 Omega Seamaster.
Powering the watch is Omega's top-tier caliber 562 movement, one of the last superior 500's series movements used before Omega began trying to reduce their costs. It has 24 jewels and swan's neck fine regulations - it is one of the finest mass-produced automatic movements from era.
It measures 34mm in diameter without the crown, the same size as a Rolex Date model. Its case shape is our favorite Omega style from the era and its black dial has a desirable crosshair design.
It has fully Omega parts and has just finished a true expertly done restoration. It presents in beautiful condition.
Its case, with shapely lugs, presents as just short of mint. Its dial has been meticulously restored - the printing could pass as Omega factory done to the naked eye.
As part of the restoration the movement has had any needed servicing performed by a Master Watchmaker. It is keeping accurate time.
For the finishing touch we have equipped it with a brand new leather strap and aftermarket Omega style buckle making it ready for immediate enjoyment.
Included with the purchase is a one-year warranty on the movement and its function, a custom printed Connoisseur of Time Certificate of Authenticity, and a new timing certificate attesting to the watch's performance.
A high-grade classic Seamaster that presents like new.
Note: A published example of a similar watch can be seen in Marco Richon's work, Omega: A Journey Through Time, 2007, pg. 291 and resides in the Omega Museum.
