The case presents as essentially perfect mint and strongly retains all of its original Rolex stamping on the back. The very cool pyramidal shaped facets on the underside of the lugs are perfectly crisp. The case is in amazing condition and virtually new.

The dial has been expertly refinished - the printing could pass as Rolex factory done to the naked eye. And the fine handwound movement is very clean.

Note that the dial and band came out looking just a bit brighter under the photography lights than they do in person.

It has just been freshly overhauled by a Master Watchmaker. After more than six decades it continues to run very strong and true, keeping time close to on par with a new Rolex in our testing position.

For the finishing touch we have equipped it with a brand new complementary colored leather strap and aftermarket Rolex style buckle making it ready for immediate enjoyment.
