Today's offering showcases this cool and classic vintage Seamaster 600 mens watch with royal blue dial in gorgeous restored condition.
The 600 series was named because of the movement that powers the watch. Besides being hand-wound, a less common trait for a Seamaster, the Seamaster 600 also features a slightly thinner case than automatic Seamasters.
It measures just under 35mm in diameter without the crown, in between the sizes of a Rolex Date and a Rolex Datejust.
It is fully Omega down to the dial, hands, and winding crown.
It has all of its original parts. It has just been meticulously restored as part of a true expertly done restoration and presents as mint condition. It presents as a 9.6 out of 10.
Its case presents as mint. Its dial has been expertly restored - the printing could pass as Omega factory done to the naked eye.
Its caliber 601 handwound movement, originally adjusted to two positions for greater accuracy, is clean.
As part of the restoration, it has been freshly fully serviced by a Master Watchmaker. Its fine handwound movement is running strongly and very accurately, like a new Omega keeping chronometer grade time in our testing recording position.
For the finishing touch, we have equipped it with a brand new leather strap and aftermarket Omega style buckle making it ready for immediate enjoyment.
Included with the purchase is a one-year warranty on the movement and its function, a custom printed Connoisseur of Time Certificate of Authenticity, and a new timing certificate attesting to the watch's performance.
Worn on the wrists of celebrities Michael Schumacher, Pierce Brosnan, Michael Phelps, and Ernie Els, Omega timepieces rank with Rolex and other of the world's best Swiss firms.
Omega is perhaps best known for their Seamaster line of dive watches. Introduced in 1948, they have been embraced by water sports enthusiasts and often marry a striking look with a high performance movement.
