1963 Omega Seamaster Mens Vintage Automatic Cal. 562 Watch - Stainless Steel

Omega

Item No. 10521

Today's offering showcases this beautiful and meticulously restored c. 1963 Omega Seamaster.

It has one of our favorite classic Seamaster case designs with screwback case embossed with the Seamonster logo.

Powering the watch is Omega's top-tier caliber 562 movement, one of the last superior 500's series movements used before Omega began trying to reduce their costs. It has 24 jewels and swan's neck fine regulations - it is one of the finest mass-produced automatic movements from era.

It is full size for the era - 35mm, which is in between the size of the Rolex Date and the Rolex Datejust. Its case shape is our favorite classic Omega styles from the era.

It has all of its original parts and has just finished a true expertly done restoration. It presents in gorgeous condition - it presents as a 9.7 out of 10.

Its case, with shapely lugs, presents in mint condition with only light signs of previous polishing.

Its matte black dial has been meticulously restored - the printing could pass as Omega factory done to the naked eye. Please inquire if you would like the light silver color removed from the seconds hand.

As part of the restoration, it has just fully overhauled by a Master Watchmaker. It is running very strong and true, keeping very accurate time in our testing recording position.

For the finishing touch, we have equipped it with a brand new calfskin leather strap and aftermarket Omega style buckle making it ready for immediate enjoyment.

Included with the purchase is a one-year warranty on the movement and its function, a custom printed Connoisseur of Time Certificate of Authenticity, and a new timing certificate attesting to the watch's performance.

A six decade old Omega that looks like new on the wrist.

Note: A published example of a similar watch can be seen in Marco Richon's work, Omega: A Journey Through Time, 2007, pg. 291 and resides in the Omega Museum.
