1964 Omega Seamaster Mens Vintage Cal. 562 Watch, Automatic, Date - Stainless Steel

Omega

Item No. 7194

Today's offering features this very cool and pleasing circa 1964 Omega Seamaster. It has the most classic Seamaster case design with screwback case embossed with the Seamonster logo and a strong and desirable cross-hair dial.

Powering the watch is Omega's top-tier caliber 562 movement used in Seamasters from the era, and one of the last superior 500's series movements used before Omega began trying to reduce their costs. It has 24 jewels and is one of the finest mass-produced automatic movements from era.

It is full size for the era - 35mm, which is in between the size of the Rolex Date and the Rolex Datejust.

It is 100% Omega down to the dial, hands and winding crown!

It has just finished having a true expert restoration and presents in gorgeous condition. The case finish presents as mint and it showcases only fairly light signs of having been polish. The dial has been meticulously restored - the printing could pass as Omega factory done to the naked eye.

1950's and 60's Seamasters are great buys as parts are readily available for their well-made movements, and they're not hard to service.

It has just been fully overhauled by a Master Watchmaker. It winds very smoothly. We have timed it in five chronometer testing positions, and it is running very true.

For the finishing touch it has been equipped with a brand new crocodile strap making it ready for immediate enjoyment

Included with the purchase is a one-year C.O.T. warranty on the movement and its function, a custom printed Connoisseur of Time Certificate of Authenticity, and a new timing certificate.

A more than half-century old Omega restored to look like new on the wrist.
