Today's offering showcases this handsome Rolex Oysterdate Precision with blue dial.
The Oysterdate Precision have become desirable non-sport vintage Rolex watches because their understated and classic design contrast the "busier" look of some of the modern Rolex watches. It's a watch that is at home being worn everyday or only for special occasions. Produced from the early 1950's into the 1980's, it was a strong commercial success for Rolex, winning a large following.
Its case is just short of mint with full beefy lugs - it is very nice. Its dial is previously refinished and its tone is in between Yale blue and navy blue. The photography lights made it look much brighter than it appears in person.
Its handwound Rolex movement is very clean. It has just been cleaned and oiled. For the finishing touch we have installed a new high quality genuine crocodile strap.
Included with the purchase is a one-year C.O.T. warranty on the movement and its function, a custom printed Connoisseur of Time Certificate of Authenticity, and a new timing certificate.
A classic Oysterdate with a gorgeous case.
