1966 Rolex Ladies Vintage Cocktail Watch - 18K White Gold & Diamonds

Rolex

Item No. 7161

Today's offering showcases this rare and exquisite Rolex creation in 18K white gold with over a carat of diamonds. Given its style it likely was made for Bucherer - according to Bucherer advertisement from the period, watches similar to this were made exclusively for the Swiss retailer.

Bejeweled with six-eight (68) diamonds, the 18K white Rolex gold case is absolutely stunning! Showcasing a beautiful open geometric design with full large brilliant diamond bezel and two sections of baguettes, this cocktail watch as it is called, added the perfect finishing touch to outfits worn to galas, award ceremonies, or other special gatherings.

The brilliant diamonds are white, near flawless, and full of fire as one would expect from original Rolex factory set diamonds.

We were fortunate to acquire this important Rolex in pleasing condition. Its case is in excellent condition and still largely retains its original stamped serial number. Its silver dial has been restored by one of the leading dial experts in North America.

One of our watchmakers has disassembled its original high-grade Rolex movement down to its last screw and cleaned and oiled it making it ready for immediate enjoyment. It continues to keep very accurate time. Photos of the inside available upon request.

If you are looking for a true treasure for that special someone in your life, this is it. Modern Rolexes don't match the charm and romance of this vintage original.
