1967 Omega Constellation Vintage Mens Watch - Stainless Steel

Omega

Item No. 6557SH

Today's offering showcases this classic 1960's Constellation. It has the De Luxe dial and bombe style case with lyre lugs.

Its stainless steel case with a Constellation emblem on the back is in pleasing condition. Its dial is original and untouched and near mint. It even has its original Omega signed crystal and 12-sided Constellation winding crown.

Its caliber 551 24 jewel chronometer movement is near pristine and keeping exceptionally accurate time. Powered by the well-regarded 500 series, it makes an excellent buy because its movement is easy to service with readily available parts. One of our watchmakers has disassembled it down to its last screw and cleaned and oiled it.

For the finishing touch we have equipped it with a brand new Teju lizard strap making it ready for immediate enjoyment.

Included with the purchase is a full one-year international warranty on the movement and its function and a new timing certificate attesting to its performance.

Note: An example of this model resides in the Omega Museum in Switzerland, and a published example can be found in Marco Richon's work, Omega: A Journey Through Time, 2007, pg. 371
