1967 Omega De Ville Vintage Mens Automatic Classic Retro Watch - Stainless Steel

Omega

Item No. 8099

Today's offering showcases this classic retro Omega De Ville in gorgeous restored condition.

Living up to its name as one of the sophisticated "De Ville" models, it features a retro somewhat "TV style" case, royal blue dial, and very fine ultra-thin automatic Omega movement.

Although non-round watches are most often fitted with handwound movements, this model can have an automatic because it is powered by a caliber 711 movement, the thinnest automatic movement the company has ever made.

The 700 series has a direct lineage to the celebrated 500 series, and is arguably as good, and collectors are beginning to recognize it accordingly.

It has fully Omega parts and has just finished a true expertly done restoration.

The case presents as mint. The dial has been meticulously restored - the printing could pass as Omega factory done to the naked eye.

As part of the restoration, a Master Watchmaker has just fully overhauled the movement. Amazingly after more than half a century, it continues to run strong and true, keeping time on par with a brand new Omega chronometer in our testing position.

For the finishing touch we have equipped it with a new calfskin leather strap making it ready for immediate enjoyment.

Included with the purchase is a one-year C.O.T. international warranty on the movement and its function, a full-page custom printed Connoisseur of Time Certificate of Authenticity, and a new timing certificate.

Omega:
Worn on the wrists of celebrities Michael Schumacher, Pierce Brosnan, Michael Phelps, and Ernie Els Omega timepieces rank with Rolex and other of the world's fine Swiss firms.
