1967 Omega Seamaster Vintage Mens Handwound Watch with Date - Stainless Steel

Omega

Item No. 10729

Today's offering continues our summer of color and showcases this cool and uncommon vintage Seamaster De Ville mens watch with Anthracite Gray dial.

The color has considerably more depth than a conventional gray, shifting from dark charcoal to brighter silvery tones as light travels across the finely brushed surface. The monochromatic palette works especially well with the polished steel case, applied baton markers, and slender hands, giving this classic Seamaster De Ville a cool, tailored appearance that feels both distinctly vintage and remarkably current.

Unlike most Seamasters from the era which were automatic, this reference was powered by Omega's uncommon caliber 613 handwound movement. The thinner movement allows for a thinner case than with automatic Seamasters. And while all of the calibers in the 600 series aren't particularly common in vintage Seamasters, the 613 with its quick-setting date is particularly uncommon.

It measures approx. 33.5mm in diameter without the crown, just a half a millimeter smaller than a Rolex Date watch.

It has a monocoque - or one piece - case which originally insured water resistance and a slim, elegant profile. The case when new achieved high water resistance ratings by not having a separate case back.

It has all of its original parts down to even its original crystal. It has just finished a true expertly done restoration. It presents in gorgeous condition - it presents as a 9.7 out of 10.

Its case presents as mint with only light signs of previous polishing. Its original Omega dial has been meticulously custom refinished in a sophisticated Anthracite Gray sunburst finish - the printing could pass as Omega factory done to the naked eye.

A Master Watchmaker has overhauled the uncommon movement which was originally adjusted to two positions. It is running extremely strong and true, keeping time better than most Omegas in our testing recording position.

For the finishing touch a new aftermarket calfskin leather strap and aftermarket Omega style buckle has been installed making it ready for immediate enjoyment.

Included with the purchase is a one-year warranty on the movement and its function, a custom printed Connoisseur of Time Certificate of Authenticity, and a new timing certificate attesting to the watch's performance.
