1969 Omega De Ville Mens Retro Dress Handwound TV Watch - 18K Gold Plated & Stainless Steel

Omega

Item No. 8072

Around the 1970's Omega commissioned a number of leading designers to create very retro styled watches. Most of the watches we've seen were elegant and some pushed the design envelope.

The wristwatch featured in today's offering is a prime example of a 70's retro Omega dress watch.

Living up to its name as one of the elegant and sophisticated "DeVille" models, it features a large "widescreen" TV case, a distinctive strong black dial, and a high-grade ultra-thin Omega movement packed inside the oblong case.

Its so-called "tropical" or "hypoallergenic" case with steel back has the look of a solid gold Omega for a fraction of the price.

It is an uncommon Omega model, ref. 111.100. Powering the watch is Omega's caliber 620 mechanism that came from the factory adjusted to two positions for more accurate timekeeping.

It is fully Omega down to the hands, winding crown, and even signed original crystal!

It has just finished a true expertly done restoration and presents in gorgeous condition. Our photos couldn't begin to do it justice!

Its case presents as mint. Its original Omega dial has been meticulously restored- the printing looks Omega factory done to the naked eye.

As part of the restoration the movement has just been fully overhauled by a Master Watchmaker. It is keeping very accurate time. Photos of the inside available upon request.

For the finishing touch we have equipped it with a brand new calfskin leather strap making it ready for immediate enjoyment.

Included with the purchase is a one-year C.O.T. international warranty on the movement and its function, a full-page custom printed Connoisseur of Time Certificate of Authenticity, and a new timing certificate.

A four and a half decade old Omega that presents like new! Don't the miss the chance to own a special retro yet elegant vintage Omega that presents like new!
