Created in 1967 by Omega's sales director Robert Forster, the Dynamic is a wonderful example of a true retro style. The clean and functional watch, a considerable success for Omega, possessed a number of designed elements that made it stand out:

* An ellipse shape with recessed crown determined to be the best geometric shape for the wrist, determined after extensive study

* Easy to read dial with "time zone" sections. The dial on this example is done in a racing style design with 1/5 second markings for precision timing for racing, aviation, or other professional uses.

* Unicoc case with hermetically sealed crystal water-resistant to a depth of 30m.

* Available with a stainless steel bracelet or easily interchangeable water-resistant Cor-fam straps

According to an Omega advertisement at the time, "The shape of the Omega Dynamic was determined by the anatomy of your wrist; its dial by the workings of your eyes; its strap by the physiology of your skin."

It circa dates to 1969 where it might have laid next to the Speedmaster Professional that would be headed to the Moon.

Powering the watch is Omega's caliber 752 movement with twenty-four jewels (seven more than in many Seamaster versions from the period), day of the week indication, and a quick-setting date.

The 700 series has a direct lineage with the celebrated 500 series, and is arguably as good, and collectors are beginning to recognize it accordingly.

The 752 was the top-tier option, the only caliber in the 500/700 line with both day and date capabilities, and one of the last superior 500/700 series movements used before Omega began trying to reduce their costs. They were one of the finest mass produced movements from the era.

The first generation of the watch lasted from 1968 until 1970. It has a fantastic two-tone dial with hands that complement it very well.

It is all-original and presents in gorgeous condition - the watch presents as a 9.7 out of 10.

Its distinctive case presents as mint with all of its original lightly engraved markings still strongly intact.

Its untouched original dial is mint. Its original bracelet has only very slight stretch - its finish presents as mint.

And its fine Omega handwound has just been overhauled by a Master Watchmaker.

After more than half a century, it continues to keep time on par with a brand new Omega in our testing recording position.
