Today's offering showcases this gorgeous restored example of one of Omega's classic vintage Geneve watches.
It circa dates to 1969 where it might have laid next to the Speedmaster Professional that was headed to to the Moon.
Powering the watch is Omega's top-tier caliber 552 movement used in Seamasters from the era, and one of the last superior 500's series movements used before Omega began trying to reduce their costs.
It has 24 jewels and a was one of the finest mass-produced automatic movements from era.
It has a waterproof style case and strong black dial. It measures 34mm in diameter, the same size as a Rolex Date model.
It has all of its original parts. It has just finished a true expertly done restoration and presents in gorgeous condition.
Its case presents as mint. Its dial has been meticulously refinished. With the exception of the Geneve script, which was done in an earlier period font, the rest of the printing could pass as Omega factory done.
As part of the restoration, a Master Watchmaker has freshly overhauled it. We have also timed it on a machine that simulates it being worn on the wrist. It is keeping time essentially on par with a new Omega in our testing.
For the finishing touch, it has been equipped with a brand new calfskin leather strap and aftermarket Omega style buckle making it ready for immediate enjoyment.
Included with the purchase is a one-year warranty on the movement and its function, a custom printed Connoisseur of Time Certificate of Authenticity, and a new timing certificate.

Omega Geneve:
Worn on the wrists of celebrities Michael Schumacher, Pierce Brosnan, Michael Phelps, and Ernie Els Omega timepieces rank with Rolex and other of the world's fine Swiss firms.
Beginning in 1953 Omega placed the name Geneve on the dials of some of the members of the 30mm collection which at the time were produced in the company's workshops in Geneve (to put Geneve on a dial of a watch certain components and processes must take place in Geneve) and later expanded the line of watches featuring the name. According to Omega the name referred to the Genevan Observatory where the early 30mm calibers set a number of records.
