1969 Omega Seamaster Mens Vintage Full Size Cal. 565 Watch and Blue Vignette Dial - Stainless Steel

Omega

Item No. 9733

Today's offering showcases this classic and meticulously restored c. 1969 Omega Seamaster.

Powering the watch is Omega's top-tier caliber 565 movement used in Seamasters from the era, and one of the last superior 500's series movements used before Omega began trying to reduce their costs, and the top tier offering of the 500 series. It has 24 jewels and a quick-setting date and was one of the finest mass-produced automatic movements from era.

It measures approximately 35mm in diameter without the crown, in between the size of a Rolex Date and a Rolex Datejust.

It has a shapely retro waterproof style case and royal blue vignette dial.

It has all of its original parts and has just finished a true expertly done restoration. It presents in gorgeous condition.

Its case presents as mint with only light signs of having ever been polished. The back still retains what appears to be its original Omega factory applied lacquer over the hypocampus logo to protect it.

Its original Omega dial has been meticulously refinished - its printing could pass as Omega factory done to the naked eye.

As part of the restoration, the movement has been overhauled by a Master Watchmaker. It is running very strong and true, keeping time on par with a new Omega in our testing recording position.

For the finishing touch, we have equipped it with a brand new calfskin leather strap with aftermarket Omega style buckle making it ready for immediate enjoyment.

Included with the purchase is a one-year C.O.T. international warranty on the movement and its function, a full-page custom printed Connoisseur of Time Certificate of Authenticity, and a new timing certificate.
