1970 Omega Geneve Vintage Mens Waterproof Style Dress Watch - Stainless Steel

Omega

Item No. 8031

The wristwatch showcased in today's offering is a classic example of one of Omega's vintage gent's Geneve watches.

Beginning in 1953 Omega placed the name Geneve on the dials of some of the members of the 30mm collection which at the time were produced in the company's workshops in Geneve (to put Geneve on a dial of a watch certain components and processes must take place in Geneve). According to Omega the name referred to to the Genevan Observatory where the early 30mm calibers set a number of records.

It features a classic, waterproof style tonneau case, gloss black dial with baguette markers, and a high grade Omega handwound movement originally adjusted to two positions.

It is fully Omega down to the dial, hands, and crown. It has just finished a true expertly done restoration and presents in gorgeous condition. The photos couldn't begin to do it justice!

The case presents as just short of mint. On the wrist it presents as mint. The dial has been meticulously restored - the printing could pass as Omega factory done to the naked eye.

As part of the restoration a Master Watchmaker has freshly overhauled it. It is keeping accurate time.

For the finishing touch we have equipped it with a brand new calfskin leather strap making it ready for immediate enjoyment.

Included with the purchase is a one-year C.O.T. warranty on the movement and its function, a custom printed Connoisseur of Time Certificate of Authenticity, and a new timing certificate.

A five decade old Omega that looks like new on the wrist!
