1970 Omega Seamaster Mens Vintage Watch with 565 Movement, Automatic, Quick-Setting Date - Stainless Steel

Item No. 6385

Today's offering showcases this classic and beautifully restored c. 1969 Omega Seamaster. Powering the watch is Omega's top-tier caliber 565 movement with twenty-four jewels (instead of the more common seventeen jewel versions) and a quick-setting date. The 56x series was one of the finest mass produced automatics from the era.

It measures approximately 35mm in diameter without the crown, in between the size of a Rolex Date and a Rolex Datejust.

It is 100% Omega down to the dial, hands, winding crown, and even the original Omega signed crystal!

It has had a true expert restoration and presents in gorgeous condition. The case presents as mint on the wrist. And the dial has been meticulously restored - the printing could pass as Omega factory done to the naked eye.

1950's and 60's Seamasters are great buys as parts are readily available for their well-made movements, and they're not hard to service.

As part of the restoration the movement has just been freshly cleaned and oiled.

Included with the purchase is a one-year warranty on the movement and its function, a custom printed Connoisseur of Time Certificate of Authenticity, and a new timing certificate attesting to the watch's performance.

For the finishing touch a new aftermarket leather strap has been installed making it ready for immediate enjoyment.

A seldom seen classic Seamaster that presents on the wrist almost like new!
