Before cost-cutting measures brought about the widespread use of quartz movements for certain wristwatches, Cartier utilized Swiss-crafted mechanical movements. Using centuries old watchmaking practices, craftsmen poured individual attention into each wristwatch.
Today's offering showcases this beautiful Certified Pre-Owned vintage ladies 18K gold Cartier. It has a precious solid 18K oval "Vendome" style case and the design elements that are easily recognized as Cartier: A classic original Roman dial and sapphire topped crown - and a fine Cartier handwound mechanism that is a miniature model of Swiss precision.
We were fortunate to acquire this extremely fine watch in such beautiful original condition. It is all original and presents on the wrist in just short of mint condition.
One of our watchmakers has freshly disassembled the watch down to the last screw and cleaned and oiled it. For the finishing touch we have equipped it with a brand new genuine Teju lizard strap making it ready for immediate enjoyment.
Included with the purchase is a one-year C.O.T. warranty on the movement and its function, a custom printed Connoisseur of Time Certificate of Authenticity, and a new timing certificate.
