1970's Omega De Ville Mens Large Retro Dress with Navy Blue Dial - Stainless Steel

Omega

Item No. 9900

Today's offering showcases this classic Omega De Ville in gorgeous restored condition. It is an uncommon model with a distinctive case. Our photos couldn't do it justice!

Measuring a large-for-the-era 36mm in diameter, the same size as a Rolex Datejust, it is pleasingly larger than most vintage watches. Its big bezel makes it wear even larger than its dimensions.

Living up to its name as one of the elegant and sophisticated "De Ville" models, it has a shapely stainless steel case, gloss navy blue dial, and automatic caliber movement from used in Seamasters from the era.

Its monococque or one-piece case originally helped it achieve a greater level of water-resistance.

Powering the watch is Omega's automatic caliber 1002 engine found in Seamasters and other models from the era.

It has a really cool retro style and great presence on the wrist - it's not your run-of-the-mill De Ville from the era. Omega used its brand new-at-the-time slim automatic winding system which allowed the movement to fit into an elegant rectangular watch without it becoming to bulky.

It has all of its original parts and has just finished a true expertly done restoration. It presents in gorgeous condition - a 9.7 out of 10. Our photos couldn't even begin to do it justice!

Its case presents as mint with the tiniest remnants of wear to the back. The case edges are sharp and the high polish facets are perfect. On the wrist it presents like new.

Its dial has been meticulously restored - the printing looks Omega factory done to the naked eye.

As part of the restoration, the movement has just been fully overhauled by a Master Watchmaker. It is keeping very accurate time.

For the finishing touch, we have equipped it with a brand new leather strap and aftermarket Omega buckle making it ready for immediate enjoyment.

Included with the purchase is a one-year C.O.T. international warranty on the movement and its function, a full-page custom printed Connoisseur of Time Certificate of Authenticity, and a new timing certificate.
