Powering the watch is Omega's caliber 1011 movement officially certified as a chronometer and with a quick-setting date and with 23 jewels.

The ultra-thin automatic movement measures only 4.25mm thick. It has a thinner rotor to reduce stress on winding parts.

These are more often seen in stainless steel. We love the look of this gold capped example with gloss black dial.

We were fortunate to acquire it in gorgeous condition - it presents as about a 9.5 out of 10. The case presents as mint. It shows slight signs of having been polished. On the wrist it presents beautifully.

The dial presents as just short of perfect mint with a very slight loss of gold to the raised Omega logo at six. Under low magnification the printing looks factory done. It's possible it may be a perfect refinishing.

The movement has been freshly fully overhauled by a Master Watchmaker. It winds very smoothly and is keeping accurate time.

For the finishing touch we have installed a new calfskin band making it ready for immediate enjoyment.
