1971 Omega De Ville Mens 18K Gold Plated and Stainless Steel Dress Watch - Box & Papers

Omega

Item No. 6227

Today's offering showcases this beautiful example of one of Omega classic vintage watches. Living up to its name as one of the elegant and sophisticated "DeVille" models, it features a timeless and understated case, classic silver dial, and fine hand-winding Omega movement.

We were fortunate to acquire it with both its original box and papers showing it was purchased in Geneva in 1971.

Powering it is one of Omega's ultra-thin mechanisms, a handwound caliber 620 engine.

It presents in beautiful condition. The gold plating on the case has been redone, and the case presents as mint. On the wrist it has the look of a solid gold Omega for a fraction of the price. The dial is original and mint. And the fine original Omega movement is very clean.

One of our watchmakers has just freshly disassembled the movement down to its last screw and cleaned and oiled it.

For the finishing touch we have equipped it with a brand new Teju lizard strap making it ready for immediate enjoyment.

Included with the purchase is a one-year international warranty on the movement and its function and a new timing certificate attesting to its performance
