These are the first watches in the world to be equipped with bracelets truly integrated with the case. This system, invented by Pierre Moinat Omega's head of creation, was patented in 1965.

Featuring a caliber 1012 movement with quick-set date and a robust stainless steel case with screwed in back for extra water-resistance, this late 60's - early 70's era Omega demonstrates why the Constellation was one of the company's most important lines..

While we generally associate this model with having a chronometer rated caliber 1011 movement, this one arrived to use with a 1012. It is not the first Constellation we have owned badged as a 1012, so its entirely possible that it may be original to the watch and worked up to chronometer grade by Omega or it may have been replaced at some point.

It has all of its original minor parts down to the hands, crown, bracelet, and even original crystal and seal. It has just finished a true expertly done restoration - it presents in gorgeous condition, a 9.7 out of 10.

Its case presents as mint. The lugs retain strong lines. Its bracelet presents as just short of perfect mint with only light stretch - on the wrist it presents as mint. Its Omega dial has been meticulously refinished - the printing could pass as Omega factory done to the naked eye.

As part of the restoration, a Master Watchmaker has freshly overhauled the movement. It is running very strong and true, keeping time essentially on par with a new Omega in our testing recording position.

For the finishing touch, it has been carefully detailed making it ready for immediate enjoyment.

Included with the purchase is a one-year C.O.T. warranty on the movement and its function, a custom printed Connoisseur of Time Certificate of Authenticity, and a new timing certificate.
