1972 Omega Dynamic Vintage Mens Bracelet Watch with Date - Stainless Steel

Omega

Item No. 10123

Created in 1967 by Omega's sales director Robert Forster, the Dynamic is a wonderful example of a true retro style. The clean and functional watch, a considerable success for Omega, possessed a number of designed elements that made it stand out:

An ellipse shape with recessed crown determined to be the best geometric shape for the wrist, determined after extensive study

Easy to read dial with "time zone" sections.

Unicoc case with hermetically sealed crystal water-resistant to a depth of 30m.

Available with a stainless steel bracelet or easily interchangeable water-resistant Cor-fam straps

According to an Omega advertisement at the time, "The shape of the Omega Dynamic was determined by the anatomy of your wrist; its dial by the workings of your eyes; it strap by the physiology of your skin."

We are pleased to offer this Mk II Dynamic. The second generation of the watch lasted from 1970 until 1972.

It has a fantastic two-tone dial with hands that complement it very well. Powering the watch is its original Omega caliber 1012 movement with quick-setting date.

It has all of its original parts and presents in gorgeous condition.

Its steel case presents as mint with all of its original lightly engraved markings still strongly intact.

Its original dial is mint. Please kindly note that the color of the hands is just a slightly lighter shade of sepia than the photos seem to suggest.

Its original bracelet has only very slight stretch - its finish presents as mint. And its fine, automatic cal. 1012 Omega movement, used in Seamasters in the era and the higher jeweled version of the 1010, has just been overhauled by a Master Watchmaker.

We have also timed it on a machine that simulates it being worn on the wrist. It is keeping accurate time.

Included with the purchase is a one-year C.O.T. warranty on the movement and its function and a custom printed Connoisseur of Time Certificate of Authenticity.

A more than fifty year old Dynamic that presents like new on the wrist!

Please note: An example of this watch resides in the Omega museum, and a published example can be found in Marco Richon's work Omega: A Journey Through Time, 2007, pg. 483.
