1973 Omega De Ville Mens Automatic Retro Full Size "TV" Watch - Stainless Steel

Omega

Item No. 6025

Today's offering showcases this gorgeous example of one of Omega's retro vintage watches. Living up to its name as one of the sophisticated "De Ville" models, it features a retro TV style case, striking royal blue dial, and fine automatic Omega movement.

Its 18K gold markers and hands give it a dressier style and a greater versatility of outfits to wear it.

It is large for a dress watch from the era - measuring 35.5mm without the crown - nearly the same size as a mens Rolex Datejust. And though most non-round watches are fitted with handwound movements, this model has Omega's fine automatic, 24 jewel caliber 711 movement that was adjusted to two positions and it still allows the case to maintain a thin profile.

But what is most striking about the watch is its incredible condition! It is in true expertly restored condition. It is 100% original Omega down to the hands and crown and presents as mint. The royal blue dial with gilt printing is a perfect refinishing, and the printing could pass as Omega factory done to the naked eye.

Our watchmaker has freshly cleaned and oiled the movement.

For the finishing touch it has been equipped it with a brand new complementary leather strap making it ready for immediate enjoyment.

Note that the dial and band came out looking a brighter blue under the photography lights than they do in person. The dial is a true royal blue and the strap is a darker blue.

Included with the purchase is a one-year warranty on the movement and its function, a custom printed Connoisseur of Time Certificate of Authenticity, and a new timing certificate attesting to it performance.

A four and a half decade old Omega that presents like new!
