Living up to its name as one of the sophisticated "De Ville" models, it features a retro somewhat "TV style" case, rich dial, and very fine ultra-thin automatic Omega movement.

Vintage watches often ask us to appreciate the past. This one quietly reminds us that exceptional design never really belongs to a single era. The beautifully custom refinished Kashmir Blue dial gives the watch a fresh, modern presence while remaining entirely in harmony with Omega's timeless design.

On you look past the lugs, the dial with light sunburst finish serves as the centerpiece. The color has an almost illuminated quality, shifting from deep saturated blue to brilliant electric highlights as light sweeps across the finely brushed surface. Against the clean De Ville design, the effect is especially striking, giving a classically elegant vintage Omega an unexpectedly modern and energetic presence.

Although non-round watches are most often fitted with handwound movements, this model can have an automatic because it is powered by a caliber 711 movement, the thinnest automatic movement the company has ever made.

The 700 series has a direct lineage to the celebrated 500 series, and is arguably as good, and collectors are beginning to recognize it accordingly.

For the finishing touch, we have installed a brand new very dark blue calfskin leather strap with aftermarket Omega style buckle making it ready for immediate enjoyment. It would also pair nicely with a black strap or other varieties.
