1973 Omega Geneve Vintage Mens Automatic Bracelet Watch with Tiffany Blue Dial - Stainless Steel

Omega

Item No. 7648

Today's offering showcases this gorgeously restored example of one of Omega's vintage gent's Geneve watches.

It is a classic retro Omega with a large waterproof style case, beautiful Tiffany blue dial, automatic movement with quick-setting date, and long adjustable original bracelet.

It is full size measuring just over 36mm in diameter - a bit larger than even a Rolex Datejust.

Powering it is Omega's automatic caliber 1012 engine found in Seamasters and other models from the era. It has 23 jewels, seven more than most Omega's from the era.

It is fully Omega down to the dial, hands, and winding crown and even the signed Omega crystal!

It has just finished a true expertly done restoration. The case presents as mint, and the Omega dial has been meticulously custom refinished - the printing could pass as Omega factory done to the naked eye.

As part of the restoration a Master Watchmaker has just fully overhauled the movement. It is running strong and keeping time.

For the finishing touch we have meticulously detailed it making it ready for immediate enjoyment.

Included with the purchase is a one-year warranty on the movement and its function, a custom printed Connoisseur of Time Certificate of Authenticity, and a new timing certificate.

A four decade old Omega that presents like new on the wrist!

Omega Geneve:
Omega watches can be found on the wrists of many prominent figures including Pierce Brosnan, Michael Schumacher, Michael Phelps, Ernie Els, Prince William, and one also graced the wrist of President John F. Kennedy. Omega has been the official timekeeper for 21 Olympic Games and is the official chronometer of NASA.

Beginning in 1953 Omega placed the name Geneve on the dials of some of the members of the 30mm collection which at the time were produced in the company's workshops in Geneve (to put Geneve on a dial of a watch certain components and processes must take place in Geneve). According to Omega the name referred to to the Genevan Observatory where the early 30mm calibers set a number of records.
