1976 Omega Geneve Vintage Mens Automatic Stainless Steel Watch - Papers

Omega

Item No. 7705

Today's offering showcases this superior all-original example of one of Omega's classic vintage gent's Geneve watches accompanied by its original papers.

It has a classic water-resistant style case with screw back, timeless silver color dial, and quick-setting date.

Beginning in 1953 Omega placed the name Geneve on the dials of some of the members of the 30mm collection which at the time were produced in the company's workshops in Geneve (to put Geneve on a dial of a watch certain components and processes must take place in Geneve). According to Omega the name referred to the Genevan Observatory where the early 30mm calibers set a number of records. They later expanded the use of the model name to other watches like this one.

It is all-original down to the original hands, signed winding crown, and even signed crystal! It is a rare prime original example of one of these watches.

It presents in mint condition. The case presents as mint with only slight signs of being previously polished. And the untouched original dial is mint.

A Master Watchmaker has just overhauled the movement. It is near pristine.

For the finishing touch a new leather strap has been installed making it ready for immediate enjoyment.

As we mentioned it even has its original filled-in papers showing a sale date of 1976.

Included with the purchase is a one-year warranty on the movement and its function.

An four and a half decade old Omega with original papers that presents nearly like new.
