Today's offering showcases this gorgeously restored and uncommon model of one of Omega's classic vintage gent's watches.
Living up to its name as one of the elegant and sophisticated "De Ville" models, it has a classic case and underestated monochromatic silver dial.
Powering the watch is its fine original ultra-thin handwound Omega movement. For the bracelet Omega used an uncommon and interesting original free sizing design that can fit virtually any wrist.
It is fully Omega down to the hands and winding crown and presents in true expertly restored condition. The dial has been meticulously refinished - the printing could pass as Omega factory done to the naked eye.
The photos couldn't do the watch justice. It presents as mint.
Our watchmaker has just cleaned and oiled the movement, which looks near pristine.
Included with the purchase is a one-year C.O.T. international warranty on the movement and its function, a custom printed Connoisseur of Time Certificate of Authenticity, and a new timing certificate.
Photos of the inside available upon request.
A four decade old Omega that presents nearly like new!
Omega watches can be found on the wrists of many prominent figures including Pierce Brosnan, Michael Schumacher, Michael Phelps, Ernie Els, and Prince William, and one graced the wrist of President John F. Kennedy. Omega has been the official timekeeper for 21 Olympic Games and is the official chronometer of NASA.
