Today's offering showcases this classic vintage retro Omega Seamaster Cosmic 2000 which presents in gorgeous condition. At a time when the quartz revolution was beginning to take place this watch with automatic Cal. 1012 movement carried on both the style and mechanical functionality of a traditional Seamaster.
This Cosmic 2000 is large for the era, measuring 38mm in diameter. It presents in beautifully restored condition - on the wrist the watch itself looks like new. The back shows signs of previous polishing. The original bracelet shows moderate stretch. The dial has been perfectly refinished - it could pass as Omega factory done to the naked eye.
As part of the restoration our Master Watchmaker has fully serviced the watch which consists of fully disassembling the movement, carefully inspecting each part, replacing any overly worn components, reassembling and lubricating the movement, replacing all of the waterproofing seals with new Omega gaskets, and extensive timing testing and regulation (a $495 value).
Included with the purchase is a one-year C.O.T. warranty on the movement and its function, a custom printed Connoisseur of Time Certificate of Authenticity, and a new timing certificate.
