1978 Omega Seamaster De Ville Classic Vintage Mens Watch, 10K Gold Filled - Rare Pie Pan Dial

Omega

Item No. 5204

Today's offering showcases this classic and rare mens Omega Seamaster made for the U.S. market. This is the first example of this watch we have ever seen, and a thorough search of the internet brought up only one other example (though we are not suggesting that only a couple exist).

It has a classic yet elegant look to it. What is so unusual about it is its 12-sided "pie pan" dial, normally associated with certain 1950's and 60's Constellations.

The movement is its original Omega caliber 1345 quartz mechanism with quick-setting hour for easy changing of the time zone, day, and date. It also has a corrector pin for quick-setting the date once the day has been set.

It is in beautiful condition. The dial is a true expert refinishing. The gilt printing could pass as Omega factory done to the naked eye. The full size 10K gold filled case is original and presents very nicely.

Photos of the inside available upon request.

Included with the purchase is a one-year C.O.T. warranty on the movement and its function and a custom printed Connoisseur of Time Certificate of Authenticity.
