Today's offering showcases this meticulously restored vintage Omega Seamaster day date. It is all correct and in beautiful condition.
Here are some of its features:
* Pioneering "double quick-set" day and date features - Omega created the caliber 1020 movement with a double quick-set capability for convenient setting of the day and date.Though many connoisseurs associate the idea of the double quick-set watch with Rolex, which first offered the President model with this "new" feature in late 1990, Omega was a pioneer of the technology in large scale production watches, evidenced by this example made about a decade before.
* Full size retro case - Its diameter is 35mm, one millimeter smaller than a Rolex Datejust
* Beautiful light wine tone dial - The original dial has had a true expert custom refinishing. The printing could pass as Omega factory done work to the naked eye.
* Faster beat (28,800 bph) balance system for greater accuracy
It is 100% Omega down to the hands and original signed crystal! It is in true expertly restored condition and presents as about a 9.7 out of perfect 10. On the wrist it presents like new.
As part of the restoration the movement has just been fully overhauled and is running very true. Photos of the inside available upon request.
Included with the purchase is a one-year C.O.T. warranty on the movement and its function, a custom printed Connoisseur of Time Certificate of Authenticity, and a new timing certificate.
A four decade old Omega that looks like new on the wrist with a custom light wine color dial!
